ABA Welcomes Latino-Centric Arizona Golden Gators as an Expansion Team

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added its first US-based Latino-centric team, to be primarily comprised of Latino players who will play in the ABA's West Region starting this season. "Having a team loaded with Latino players is something we have wanted for many years," stated ABA CEO Joe Newman . "There are so many great Latino players and there are so many Latino people in the West and Southwest - the fan base should be terrific for all of their home games and away games. The team will be based in the Phoenix metro area."
