The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Salt Lake City Dream will be returning to the league after a several year hiatus. “We are very pleased to have Kenny Wamsley and his team back,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “With so few teams near Utah, it was difficult for them to schedule games with easy travel. Recent expansion in the west changed that – and they’re back. The Dream was a very competitive team and I will assume they will again be a strong team.”
Kenny Wamsley has a diverse history in Sales and Marketing including Atlas Copco, Marriot and Fed Ex. He played college basketball at Western Wyoming College and was an Academic All American. “We are very excited to be returning to the ABA. It has been a long time and we’re looking forward to the challenge,” added Wamsley.
