ABA Adds Central Florida Snipers to Growing Roster of Teams

Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the Central Florida Snipers located in Orlando FL to its growing roster of teams.


"We are very excited to have Joel Jesoel Sanchez as part of the ABA," stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. "Joel's basketball journey has taken him from competitive AAU basketball and 7A high school varsity competition to the collegiate, ABA and international levels. And now he is an ABA team owner. An exciting career indeed."


During college, Sanchez played at Point Park University before transferring to Kaiser

University where he developed his ability to compete at a high level while balancing the demands of academics and athletics. He earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Central Florida, which has given him a strong interest in human movement, injury prevention, rehabilitation and athletic performance.


"From competing in 7A varsity basketball and winning AAU Championships to playing college basketball, competing in the ABA and internationally in FIBA competition, I continue to pursue my goals both on and off the court," added Sanchez. "My combination of basketball experience, education, competitiveness and ambition continue to shape my journey as an athlete, future physical therapist of owner of the ABA Central Florida Snipers. I am really looking forward to the challenge and am excited to be a part of this great league."
