Franchise player Kendrick Fillyaw continues to build on an extraordinary trajectory. Initially selected by the Bangkok Coyotes of the TEBA League – Thailand’s premier men’s league – Fillyaw was a top pick in the draft right out of the gate as an undiscovered rookie. He ultimately chose to join the Hawthorne Hurricane, a decision that has seen his career and personal brand explode.

Since joining the franchise, Fillyaw has secured multiple sponsorships and NIL deals, significantly expanded his social media platforms, and received additional offers to play internationally, including a prestigious opportunity with the Jordanian Premier League in Amman.

Additionally, the Hurricane are celebrating Kordell Gordon, who was originally set to anchor the team's frontcourt as starting center out of junior college. Standing at 6'5", Gordon’s talent quickly caught international attention, leading to him being signed by the Phoenix Perception in Thailand. He is now heading abroad to officially launch his professional basketball career.
