The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the New Jersey Soldiers will be returning go the league after a 2-year hiatus. “It’s great to have Adrian Shenfield back,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Adrian is a former ABA All-Star player and he is determined to build a successful winning team and make the Soldiers a top ABA team on and off the court.” The team will play in Mahwah NJ.
“I’m ready to continue what I started”, added Shenfield. “I am here to motivate and inspire people around the world to chase their dreams and make them a reality. Throughout my life I have experienced very challenging things and adversity as an individual and an athlete which made me who I am today. Sharing my basketball journey and experiences in the ABA gave me a great understanding of how things work and I am hoping to make a difference and make some noise bringing another team and excitement back to New Jersey. Our goal is to win championships and help players be successful.”
