Manchester Ballers Set to Begin Play Next Season

Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Manchester Ballers located in Manchester, New Hampshire have joined the league and will begin play in the 2027-28 season.

"We are really pleased to have Carl Doucet and his team as part of the ABA," stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. "He is very experienced, and I know that he will add much to the very strong East Region."

Coach Doucet founded the Manchester Basketball Association (MBA) in 2011 and is excited

to bring a high level of basketball to the Manchester and Southern NH community area.

"I want to integrate the team into the community and have them become something that

Queen City residents can be proud of," added Doucet. "I have been around the game for many years as a coach and trainer and am excited to have my son, Jet Doucet, with me to both own and promote the new team in the ABA. I have always believed that all skill levels and ages deserve the right to play the game of basketball and with this, we will have the ability to showcase a higher level of talent inside Southern NH while giving players at a peak age their chance of exposure and new opportunities."
