Five ABA Teams on Hiatus Returning Next Season

The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that five former ABA teams that took a brief hiatus will be returning for the 2026-2027 season.
“We are very pleased to have these teams back,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “These are great ABA teams and will fit strategically into our new Regional format making competition better and travel easier. We anticipate several more teams to return and with our record-setting expansion, the ABA will be bigger and better than ever.”
The returning teams include:
PG Valor, Prince George County, MD, Owner LaDonna Smith
Baltimore Hawks, Baltimore MD, Owner Greg Brown
Bold City Rattlers, Jacksonville FL, Owner Joshua Barnett
Little Chicago, Johnson City TN, Owner Patrick Grayson
North Alabama War Dawgs, Huntsville AL, Owner Timothy Jones
